And don't you forget it. The most inspiring Friday night with my inspiration and dear friend @mindfulmft. If you don't already, follow her. Her words and spirit will change your life. ___________________________ Growth. As we work our way closer to ourselves it requires that we lean further away from anyone and anything that keeps us from that. It's why we *have* to lose friendships at times; it's why we start prioritizing new things; it's why a relationship may no longer be for us....and it's why all of that is actually okay. It doesn't make us bad people, but it's why growth can be so intimidating at times. It's not just the work that it requires, but the fear of losing familiarity and comfort while taking on the risk of becoming without any form of certainty. It's both exciting and scary to grow. We all know that there's something great on the other side of the climb, but we also fear that it may be lonely over there. "If I keep growing doesn't that mean the pool of people (for partnership) shrinks?" A question asked by many of my "on the market" clients. It's true, the more work we do on ourselves the more we attract people who are doing similar work and the more we lose interest in those who are not. The pool *can* become smaller --- and --- it's still worth it. Because when you know, there's no unlearning your growth. It doesn't work that way. Consciously working against your growth is totally fear based. The person you are becoming deserves you to go all in. The cost of all that you will lose is worth the beauty of coming home to yourself and having a joyful life surrounded by people and things that have your soul standing peacefully. #mindfulmft
