An epic day in the high Sierra being chased by storms ends in a tranquil moment at the foot of Mono Lake. Gotta love the the Sierra. I spent much of my twenties driving up and down hwy 395 between trips to Yosemite and getting a taste for the fine alpine granite of the East Side.
