Sporobolus heterolepis (prairie dropseed) is our perennial of the week! The fragrant flowers of this grass are reminiscent of cilantro and, like the herb, are either loved or loathed by people. Flowers and seedheads shimmer in the sunlight and create a light cloud above fine foliage.
