For those of you curious to learn more about us and our process, this is the first step to every embroidery! Each design begins as an original pencil drawing by Founder and Designer, Stephanie Housley @stephanie_coralandtusk. For our signature feathers and plumes pattern pictured here, Stephanie was inspired by her own collection of found feathers, gathered on walks or while traveling. Every detail is considered in her drawing. She then carefully selects colors from her archive of embroidery threads to create a bold and dynamic palette.
