Debuting the #GucciArtWall in Soho, NYC painted with a design by @ignasimonreal for the fragrance Gucci Bloom #InBloom. “Using the Italian Renaissance as a starting point, I created my own version of a ‘Locus Amoenus’, a literary term that refers to an idyllic place, a garden to escape from the city. The table depicted at the base of the wall shows the Florentine ‘pietre dure’ mosaic technique using marble and precious stones—inspired by my visit to the Museum Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence," the artist said.
