Voici un portrait d’Henri Mottez, né à Londres lors du second mariage de son père, le peintre français Victor Mottez, à Georgiana Page. Capturant le regard brillant de curiosité d’Henri, c’est bien son père qui le représente ici. Grand peintre de portraits et de fresques, Victor passa le flambeau à Henri, qui devint lui-même peintre. Tel père, tel fils !
