This Police Officer and his colleagues lost their houses with the Hurricane and all of them are helping the city. Obviously, like in any profession, there are good elements and bad elements, but having lived in a third world country (Which I Love but it's third world) and in a first world country, I can tell you that the biggest difference is the respect to the law. In the US, 99 percent of Police Officers are honorable, just like this unnamed Hero and his colleagues. He lost his house and cars, but he is carrying a stranger through the water. Consider this the next time that you call them pigs and wish them bad things. Again, there are some that suck, but guys like the one in the picture are what Humanity needs. Without respect to the law there's only anarchy, and trust me, it sucks...
