You may have noticed me talking about the #peanutapp in last week's video but I wanted to tell you about it here as well because I freakin' love it! I've been using it about a month now so when @peanut asked if I'd like to collab with them I was like, 'yessss, sign me up peanut baby!'. Peanut is an app for Mums to meet other Mums in their area, arrange meetups or just have some chat- you can also poll dates and times in group chats which is handy. When Darcy was born I didn't have a lot of Mum friends and life was a bit lonely. As she joined nursery and school I made some and loved having someone to chat to at soft play or someone to text after a tough day. Once this new baby comes along I want to make new friends and build that support group even further. You create a little profile (very easy and not scary), you tick a few cute emoticon things for what you like doing (I think I ticked crafts, foodie and homebird) and then you're set. It's a bit like those swiping date apps (which clearly I loved as now I'm pregnant with the man I met on there, having his baby and looking for other Mums in the local area with similar interests and similar ages children/pregnancies to hang out with, haha- gotta love those apps!).
