We had clouds yesterday. But still it got dark, like a sunset with no color. The tree frogs came on strong calling across the cove, and the evening birds too. Looking out into the valley we saw streetlights come on in the west. I felt different, odd, changed. And then, very quickly day went back to being day. So many of us watched this eclipse yesterday, it might be the first communal experience we have had in a decade. #eclipse2017
