I think you see how beautiful Demi is in this photo, how luminous her skin is, how long and elegant her neck is.Sadly, at the last minute the powers that took over the creative of the magazine changed it to what they thought was a more "friendly" cover. The difficult thing with shooting celebrities is do you change their look so it is a surprise to the reader maybe risking that the reader will not know who it is and not buy the magazine, or do you go with a safer approach so everyone who looks at the cover knows who it is? I like using the magic of fashion, hair, makeup and great photography to create an image that perhaps one has not seen before. I like Demi a lot and thought she deserved to be seen in a more sophisticated light than she had been before. I lost the battle. #happybirthday #fashionmagazinecover #beauty #neverbeforeseen
