Grace, age 14?Marietta, GA ??: Grace has faced more challenges head-on in her 14 years than most people will endure in a lifetime. After being diagnosed with aggressive bone cancer at age 11, she had to bravely undergo treatment for dozens of tumors in her lungs as a result of metastatic disease. Most remarkably, Grace underwent a drastic surgery to remove her foot and have it reattached in reverse where her knee joint once was, so that she could continue to enjoy her favorite activity, running. Photographer Kate Parker says, “She’s making everyone believe in miracles, in finding strength where you thought there was none and hope when you didn’t see any.” Grace dreams big hoping to compete in the Paralympics one day and is currently training for a 5K race. ✨#DreamBigPrincess ✨ ?: Kate Parker
