A woman named Rhoda Hogan deserves to rest in peace. Right now she is turning over in her grave at what @cornellvet Cornell Feline Health Center did with her $125,000 bequest they received in 2007. Rhoda Hogan wanted to help end declawing, the torture and cruelty that is being done to around 5000 cats a day in America. Are you going to @catconworldwide this weekend? If so, in honor of the declawed kitties like this one, will you please help me find out what Cornell Feline Health Center really did with Rhoda Hogan's $125,000 bequest that they were awarded in 2007. Cornell said they used $100K of it to make 6 very short videos about Managing Destructive Scratching Behavior in cats, but the feline behaviorist IN THE VIDEOS told me that she wrote all the material and doesn't remember being paid but that if so, it was around $200. And only because I called Cornell out on this, they are now, 10 YEARS LATER, saying they are going to do something to help the cause with the remaining $25K. WTH? I'm the only one helping her and need your help. She wanted her bequest to go to help end declawing AND to support anti-declawing legislation. Cornell IS NOT SUPPORTING THE ANTI-DECLAWING BILL IN NY AND they declaw cats at their animal hospital. ? It's so egregious to not honor the final wishes of the dead don't you think??? @pawproject was in the running for this bequest but Cornell talked a good talk filled with BS and said they would get the videos out to thousands of people. The videos aren't even working on their website and after 10 years, they only have 2038 views on YouTube. So if you are going to CatCon in Pasadena this weekend, please stop by Cornell Feline Health Center 's booth #1124 and if their Ass. Director Bruce Kornreich, is there like he was last year, respectfully ask him why they said those videos cost $100K to make. Please take notes for me and send me his answer. The animation in the videos is very simple so don't buy that bs excuse. #TellTheTruthCornell #DoTheRightThingCornell You can read more about the story if you google "City the Kitty Rhoda Hogan." #catcon #catconworldwide #cornell #cornell #pawsneedclaws
