Buckling up and getting ready for battle ? On a serious note though, I learned so much from this trip. I'm here in Mexico City researching and starting the pre-production stages of a short documentary about human trafficking. I've talked with community leaders, anti-trafficking agencies, and visited a safe house here, and am starting to scratch the surface of this incredibly complex social ill. I've seen the faces of these trafficking survivors, 12 to 16 years old, and questioned if there's any humanity left (there were cases of abuse done to 18 month old babies). Our next trip is Vietnam and I hope to scratch a little deeper and understand how this issue effects Southeast Asia. Thank you for letting me share and for being on this journey with me ❤️
