It's no surprise that many of our ambassadors our road trip savvy, used to long bumpy dirt road, mountain passes, making a meal out of a packet of Ramen, and always knowing how to chill the beer… Even in the desert. Here's a pic from @sageclegg from her desert tortoise count last spring. She writes, "Another long day of walking comes to a close & it's nice to watch the sun sink low, do a little yoga, and enjoy a hearty meal of chili-mac cooked up by chef @freshtracksshop We live in our poptop camper while we work in the desert surveying for Mojave Desert Tortoises. Having a home on wheels to return to after walking transects helps this vast, dry, windy desert become a place we can happily live for a while.
