This problem meant a lot to me although it wasn't the hardest one of the comp! Coming onto the mat I knew I had to top it to secure a spot on the podium and I'm happy that I executed... But what really made me feel good was that despite the pressure and an unsuccessful first go I didn't panic, climbed well and even had the time to appreciate the situation I was in: The World Games Finals!!
Of course standing on a podium is a great feeling... but loving what I do no matter what the result is, not only takes away much pressure but also leads to better performances ?
That's what this season taught me and I try to keep this in mind also when comps don't go my way...
