At West Kilbride primary school in North Ayrshire, Scotland, @kierandodds photographed kids learning to play #golf during a physical education class. Despite being renowned as the home of the sport, #Scotland is having a tough time attracting kids to the links. Video games, smartphones, dress codes, antiquated traditions and weather all play their part in the waning interest, but some also point to something more basic: “Golf isn’t as fun as it used to be in Scotland,” @kierandodds writes. At West Kilbride, a local amateur brought a group of 7- and 8-year-olds outside for a lesson using a line of clubs designed especially for children. After some simple instruction, they played in soccer nets with their friends.
