Popping a fancy bottle of champagne given as a going-away gift from a friend back home...we waited for the right moment for weeks. We were first too busy, too stressed, too moving-on-to-the-next-task-or-place. After a tornado came though up here at the lake (which is incredibly rare), we lost power and water for three days. Talk about not being able to relax on vacation! When the power was returned and I saw Ellen, the woman who never can sit still, finally resting on the dock and staring out at her beloved lake, I knew it was time.
