It was 104 degrees outside, the sidewalk felt like touching a frying pan. Yet 39 amazing activist stood there and then "died" there to represent the 39 beautiful orcas that have died at the hands of SeaWorld. For one hour they laid there as I kneeled on the burning hot ground while the sun burned our skin for over an hour. It hurt, I'm not going to lie. There were moments that I thought I had to stand up because the pain in my legs was too great, I had to seek shade because I felt like I was going to pass out from the heat, get water, run from all the cameras snapping in my face and then I remembered why I was there. This is only temporary for me, this is a choice, but for all the orcas trapped there day after day, there was no choice. They had to endure until their dying breath. So I ask you, don't buy a ticket. Don't support this.
