Susie’s Story > Susie is a Quilt Room Technician and has worked at Lavenham for 9 years. Susie has worked in the textile industry since leaving school, she started out training at a Weavers where she was responsible for winding the warp threads which is the initial process of the weaving cycle. Susie has years of experience running all three of our Quilt Machines but operates one at time, her daily responsibilities include rethreading needles, straightening layers of material, regulating the tension and running the machine checking for any defects and broken needles, a keen eye for detail is vital ✂️
