Photo by @twowheelednomad Thanks to Dick Strohmeyer, a seasoned Alaskan bush pilot (who also happens to be an orthopedic surgeon), we got to soar the skies in a Super Cub above the Matanuska-Susitna Borough of south-central Alaska. Specifically, Knik Glacier. As Fridays go, hanging out on cloud 9 lapping up the glacial vista will do nicely. Couldn’t have asked for more: an Alaskan’s Alaska, which blew our minds.
