I woke up with the sad news that Simone Veil has passed. Simone was a women's right pioneer, holocaust survivor and first women chosen as President of the European Parliament. She has been and will continue being an inspiration for all of us and we have to continue her fight for women's rights and equality. She may have passed but her ideas are still very much alive. // Je me réveille avec cette triste nouvelle. Simone Veil restera une source d'inspiration pour nous tous. Nous devons aujourd'hui poursuivre sa lutte pour le droit des femmes. Une grande dame s'est éteinte mais ses idées seront toujours dans la lumière.
