Had an amazing visit yesterday with one of my heroes, Lisa Hywood at the @TikkiHywoodTrust. Over the last few months I've been reminded time and again how so much of the behind the scenes, labour intensive, tedious conservation work folks are doing on the ground goes largely unseen and often unsupported. The work Lisa and the Trust are doing rehabilitating pangolin and working with the judicial system here in Zimbabwe, and elsewhere in Africa and Asia, to try and buy time for so many trafficked species is often not glamorous or rewarding, but is undoubtedly having a huge impact. ?: @AdrianSteirn
