While on assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック for our National Parks Series I travelled to the glacier several times with a group of climbers. We skied and hiked as much of the #GreatRuthGorge as we could to photograph these liquid sapphires, which somehow still shined bright on even the darkest and cloudiest of days, like portals into another world. It was a strange and beautiful meditation, and it is a place I still see in my dreams .#GetOutdoorsDay
