This old wood has a story to tell. At Sons of Sawdust (@sonsofsawdust) we get the incredible opportunity to preserve history by reclaiming wood from the buildings that our ancestors constructed, like this barn that was built at the turn of the century. These historic buildings that might otherwise be torn down and tossed into the landfills become the material that we use to handcraft our furniture. We take the old forgotten wood, and make it the centerpiece of the home. It gets to live again, it gets to have a fresh start. We feel truly honored to be able to do our part in saving the legacy of our forefathers.
