Black gay and transgendered men, we HAVE to get on PREP. If someone in your family or friend group is a black gay man, ask them if they are on PREP, and if not, encourage them to do so immediately. PREP is the first drug ever that prevents negative individuals from contracting HIV. I've been taking the drug for almost two years. If we don't stop this epidemic, one in two black gay men will become HIV-infected. Prep is covered by insurance and under the Affordable Care Act.
