a beautifully rich earthy pesto in the making - a perfect clear out the fridge sort of dish - using all manner of green things plus the ends of a few parmesan cheeses and some really good olive oil and corse salt -kale, carrot tops, three different herbs and a few stray radish leaves too
pesto always reminds me of summer and sweet basil but for this sodden blustery evening it's just the hearty warming sustenance we need
