A 100-meter cliff with a 60-meter gash cut through its center by the Kanoto River, Kanoto Rock serves as the entrance to Odake Shrine, thus giving it its name: Kanoto literally means 'the god's door.' Here the mysterious rock splits the freshly budding greenery too!
