I recently visited @careforwild - It is the world’s largest and most sophisticated rhino orphanage run by Petronel Nieuwoudt and her team to help South Africa’s rhino poaching crisis. Working together with @sanparks and local vets they rescue, rehabilitate and release rhinos who have lost their mothers. To keep their rhinos safe @careforwild have employed a couple of canine friends! This attack dog’s name is Jackson and he works for the centres K9 anti-poaching unit. Do you know this dog is so incredibly trained to incapacitate poachers that he can even jump out of a helicopter, strapped to his handler! This is what @careforwild uses to save rhinos on the ground!
