@ナショナルジオグラフィック @stevewinterphoto This week I visited @careforwild with my assistant @alexbraczkowski to photograph and film white rhinos. Rhinos in Africa are facing a poaching crisis (23 have been killed in the last 2 weeks in Kwazulu-Natal alone). Petronel Nieuwoudt and her team run the biggest and most sophisticated rhino rehabilitation centre in the world. Working together with @sanparks and local vets they rescue, rehabilitate and release rhinos who have lost their mothers. These teenagers are getting a second chance at freedom.
