Ava finally understands the concept of gifts after attending a marathon of birthday parties. We loved her excitement of opening a few on her own birthday and have been keen to teach her the importance of appreciation. In partnership with @ロクシタン, I was sent a box of curated thoughtful + useful products from their line for their Mother's Day campaign. No matter how old we get, opening a surprised gift makes us feel special and is much appreciated so thank you @loccitaneusa ?. Their Shea butter hand cream is my favorite. Before we had opened the box, Ava already claimed the gift as hers. Then later handed it to me. "Say thank you, mom." After I opened the box she reached for the items saying "oh actually, these are mines...." ?.
