This is what it looks like when a bear is used for bile extraction and what currently takes place in Vietnam. The Vietnamese government is aware of this animal cruelty and has undertaken legislative steps by prohibiting the purchase and consumption of bear bile although bile extractions are still taken place behind closed doors.
