“As a young female entrepreneur, I felt like navigating the world of business was scary, intense and oftentimes isolating,” says Jaclyn Johnson (@jaclynrjohnson), the CEO of Create & Cultivate (@createcultivate), a site on a mission to inspire the modern millennial woman. “I wanted to create a community where women could come together and have real conversations around the issues they were facing, find the advice they needed and get the support to truly build them up.” Her advice to young entrepreneurs? “You have to start by starting,” says Jaclyn, who splits her time between West Palm Beach, Florida, and Los Angeles. “There is no good timing or door that is going to open for you. You literally have to build the door, then break it down.” she says.
