“When I went to Officer Candidates School after my junior year of college, some of my instructors were saying, ‘Hey, if you guys are thinking about getting into training and keeping fit, you should really try this CrossFit stuff,’” says @joemasley.

After leaving the Marines, Joe began coaching at @crossfitsouthie and then in 2012, joined the coaching staff @reebokcrossfitone.

Around that time, the little boy in him came back and he realized through his CrossFit training, he was well prepared to take the test for the fire department. After graduation – he was assigned to Tower Ladder 10 in #Boston.
