In Texas USA, this weekend a police man shot a 15 year old unarmed black boy Jordan Edwards dead..... ???
Today two officers were not charged for the killing of Alton Sterling, a 37 year old unarmed black man shot in July 2016..... ???
I grew up in London in the 70's and 80's and received allot of racism and violence for the colour of my skin ( nothing in comparison to my black friends) and for having a white boyfriend. I will never forget the hatred I met around me in those days. I was raised by an African/ born, Indian/raised mother, who taught me to always stand up for those suffering and for anyone experiencing racism.... I always have an always will.
Today finding out this news my heart grows heavy yet again.... and I share my story to raise awareness the awful situation in the US and in support of all those suffering in this world from inequality. Call me a dreamer, but I believe in a better world. ?
