As much as I love my job, it's one that gives you some pretty wild travel schedules. In the last 48 hours I've stood on 4 different continents, which is a first for me in such a short period of time. I left Johannesburg South Africa, to São Paulo Brazil where I spent 4 hours, to Newark New Jersey for 10, and am now in Milan. The oddity of the schedule came from a last minute photo shoot. I'm sincerely not complaining, it's just weird to have been drinking coffee watching the sunrise in the African kalahari 2 days ago only to be doing the same thing in a piazza in Italy 48 hours later! I want to note for you frequent and guilty travelers (like me) that you can purchase carbon offsets, some directly through your preferred airline, which helps for the carbon footprint left when you travel. Carbon offsetting is a reduction in carbon dioxide, a market where the money is used for reforestation projects, methane abatement, renewable energy projects and more. It's worth doing some research about!
