His name is Sir Damien Octavius May. He was a serial killer who discreetly attended large parties and dances looking for some unsuspecting damsel who left alone that he could follow home and strangle in the night. As a child he was teased by the local boys and completely shunned by all of the girls. Everyone thought he was weird and they made up all sorts of rumors about him. They also played cruel jokes on him, even setting him up with a fake date to his high school promenade’ only to get him to the party alone to humiliate him. He vowed from that night that he would get revenge. It took him years before he claimed his first victim. And when he did, the townspeople immediately knew it was him. An angry mob arrested him, bound and gagged him, placed him in a coffin, nailed it shut and buried him in an eight-foot grave… ALIVE! Afterwards, they stayed there all night drinking and dancing until dawn. That was the first day of May that year. Legend has it that every year on May 1st, Sir Damien May comes from the grave to claim a life of another damsel by strangling her like he did before he was killed, and then dancing with the woman’s dead body all night. By the next morning, he would return to his grave and the woman’s body would eventually be found in the woods near the site where he was buried alive. Today is May 1st, 2017! And @TheEmmaSlater has decided to call the legend’s bluff as she and her friends plan to head out into the woods where he is buried to recite three times the incantation… “Sir May, may I have the first dance?” Is it all just an urban legend? Or does he really return from the dead? Tonight, with your very eyes, you will witness The Legend of Sir Damien Octavius May! @dancingABC #TeamShadSquad #DWTS
