What fascinates me about Africa more than anything is how truly raw the wilderness here still is. @jacadatravel helped my wife @danahrichardson and I plan the current trip we are on, a tour through Southern Africa for our honeymoon. When they told us about how untouched the wilderness of #GonarezhouNationalPark in #Zimbabwe is, we had to see it for ourselves. We were put into great hands on arrival with our guide Thomas, he told us that there is nothing more dangerous in the park than the elephants. When you approach any wildlife here you have to be as quite as possible, they aren't used to people. Always give a wide birth and be respectful, especially when on foot on game walks. We were charged a handful of times by #elephants, twice by this one here, thankfully we were in a truck! Thomas always remained calm, backed us out of the situation and reminded us that they call it the wild kingdom for a reason. There is no place like Gonarezhou, it's beautiful and untouched, I hope it remains that way forever.
