The word 'empire' gets thrown around a lot in the business world, with more thought being given to power and control than how a business actually makes people feel. Ive made (and continue to make) a lot of mistakes in my business, but if I have anything to leave behind one day, I hope this business will be remembered more as a community and more for trying its best to be open, honest, caring, welcoming and for righting its own wrongs as often as it can.
