If Hockney did pic 'n' mix... From liquorice all sort tiles to strawberry laces and water icing swimming pool swirls - am hoping Peter, Nick and David would approve! Inspired by Hockney's painting 'Peter Getting Out Of Nick's Pool' 1966 and Thomas Harnett O'Meara's (@thomashomeara) animation of the exhibition itself, I couldn't help but see and create this sweet shop of imagery. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The piped lines and color palette of the tiles lead me on to the iconic fondant fancy. Not sure if Davids a fan, but he's certainly inspired what's to follow... ⠀
