Currently prepping for the talk I'm giving tomorrow at a Miami Americorps Member event on the topic of self-love and care.?

I set a professional goal to step outside of my comfort zone when it came to public speaking this year.
Shortly after, I got a few emails about going to speak at a school in my area and at events with Americorps- whose members work with kids that live in impoverished communities.
God works in some pretty amazing ways.
Getting involved with the youth in my community was a personal goal this year as well. Something that I felt I needed to do for me to heal a few recently revealed wounds from my past. Something that I knew would require a lot from me emotionally.
Figures he would plant an opportunity at my feet that would catapult me from certainty in so many areas of my life and into a future of authentic vulnerability.
God must be a rip-the-band-aid kinda guy.?

Sharing my story towards self-love is a step on my journey that's going to make me stretch and grow as a person but also feed my soul in new ways in the process.
