• Mick Rock is taking over our account today. • Shot at the Cafe Royal in London's Piccadilly on July 4th 1973. Often called the 'Last Supper'. It was the afterparty for Ziggy Stardust's last-ever public performance at the Hammersmith Odeon venue. Lou Reed had just finished recording his controversial album 'Berlin'. Mick wanted a piece of the 'Glam' action! It was a celebrity stacked affair, with the likes of Bianca Jagger, Ringo Starr, Jeff Beck, Keith Moon, Ryan O'Neal, Angie Bowie and did not finally end until daybreak.
