Every Monday I drive down to Ellenville to volunteer at Family of Ellenville, where I mainly help unload and unpack huge shipments of donated food from the local Walmart. Sometimes I help prepare food packages, but mainly I'm there (with my co-volunteer, Gerry) to make the main staff's day a little easier by getting these physical projects off their plate. Every week I look forward to this shift and getting to talk to people who remind me what real compassion and care look like- without judgement and without question. Volunteering here has permanently cured me of any case of the Mondays. ❤ #givebackspeakup
