‘This is Laguna 69 which is located in Huascaran National Park, 8 hours north of #Lima, #Peru. The hike there took 3 hours and gains 4600m in elevation. When I got there, I was surprised to see there was not another soul in sight; I was surrounded by mountain glaciers, waterfalls and the most intense turquoise coloured water. This was definitely one of the most impressive natural landscapes I have ever seen! My hand drawn map and very limited Spanish made it one big adventure!’ - @beconeill.
