Interesting conversation with the accomplished Brian Orser. 30 Years ago in Cincinnati he won the @isufigureskating World Championship. He is twice an Olympic Silver medalist. Orser was the first to make the Triple Axel a must in major international competition. Now he coaches Olympic Champion Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan and reigning World Champion Javier Fernandez of Spain. He discusses the trend in men's skating that sees multiple Quad jumps as the key to success. "We're pushing the sport forward. And that's the nature of all sport...to go faster and higher.
