heavy white snow clings to the branches outside and great fat flakes have been falling all afternoon - making the most of this snowy new england friday and some of the last of the winter citrus - layers of tangy grapefruit curd sandwiched between light crispy meringue - music on in the background and I'm about to make up a batch of sourdough oatmeal raisin cookies - a little experiment using some of the dough left from the starter I've got going at the moment -there's nothing like swirls of cinnamon scented air in the corners of the house to warm up a frosty evening - what are your plans
