For those who aren’t familiar with the magnificent sport of cliff diving, Stari Most in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina is a bit of a bucket-lister. The bridge’s diving tradition actually goes back over 450 years, and a jump from the top is a rite of passage for professional divers and the town’s fearless youth alike. Yes, it’s no cliff, but at over 20 metres, divers can sure cause a splash! So, while the rest of the world watches on in awe, locals brush it off, welcoming the Cliff Diving World Series crowds with open arms. Meanwhile, up on the platform, it’s twist, turn, tumble for Canadian athlete @lysanne_richard. The ex-Cirque du Soleil acrobat (yes, really) is taking the world’s oldest high dive competition in her stride!
