We made haste by boat to Coron's stunning jewel that is Kayangan Lake. Very first thing in the morning. And pleasantly found ourselves the first AND only ones in this massive inlet of clear turquoise water nestled within epic limestone walls. The gorgeous sight felt utterly zen! So this is the cleanest lake in all of Asia! Here, in the motherland. The Philippines!

We snorkeled and swam and floated along on a bamboo raft. Just us and Mother Nature.

An hour later, the tourists poured in… But, wow, that hour of uninterrupted peace and quiet was heavenly! Felt like we were the only two people in our very own private world!
