"We planned on getting to Kirkjufell later in the week but were turned around in the South of #Iceland by bad weather. We drove all the way here from Vik in a day, stopping along the way, and I'm glad we did. The weather was perfect when we arrived. We caught the sunset a few hours after arriving and this is the #sunrise. In all this, light can last somewhere around 6 hours. Being from Hawaii, I'm used to getting maybe one or two shots when the light does this with long exposures. But given the amount of time we had, it was nice to study the area and take our time in setting up our compositions. I'm so glad that this camera has a built in intervalometer so I don't need to worry about another piece of gear. I'm really happy with the way this image turned out and I couldn't be more happy knowing that it's 50mp." #MyCanonStory
