If you are stuck in a negative conversation with yourself, scrolling through profiles and looking at bodies that do nothing for your self esteem or motivation right now, STOP. What are you ever going to achieve from this habit? And even if you do get inspired and start working out, will you ever truly be satisfied with yourself if you continue to compare your body to theirs? Your progress to theirs? - Can you change your body? Yes. But can you change your natural shape and build to look exactly like someone else's? No. But that doesn't make you any less beautiful or capable. When we strive to become the best version of ourselves, we finally find happiness in who we naturally are. It's when we begin to feel empowered by our flaws and differences. When we begin to share and inspire others with the things that make us unique instead of hiding them to be like everyone else. - I found this back shot from a job when I first started modeling in 2011. The video is from a shoot about a month ago. (It was the best recent capture from this angle I could find.) For the past 6 years, I have found that acceptance and consistency were the two most powerful driving forces behind my transformation. Coming in close third is a willingness to learn and change. I practice daily self love, whether it's by dry brushing in the morning or soaking in a tub at night. I'm not afraid to eat or cheat. I track my macros and follow a 80/20 lifestyle, and I workout 1hr a day, 5 times a week. But most importantly, I accepted at the start of my journey, that I wasn't doing this to look like anyone else but the absolute best version of myself.💫 @getfitandthick #fitandthick #fitandthickapp #selflove #empowerment #createnewhabits #cuttheshitandgetmotivater
