Photo by @dominicnahr | Men sit inside the main chief's hut in Diamaram. An entire village of 6000 civilians from Kobi had made their way through the lake to an area they deemed safe. Over the course of about 80 years, the fishermen followed the waters edge as it receded further away from the original settlement of their forefathers. As violence and attacks were too much for the villagers in late, so in 2015 they decided to return back to where their ancestors had begun.
